Abstract

This Systematic Review Sheds Light on knowledge of Ghosting in Vocational Settings Ghosting Indicates the Abrupt Termination of Contact from One Party to Another without Providing an Explanation The Theory-Context-Method Framework of Literature Reviews Was Implemented to Provide an Overview of the Research Landscape Furthermore Examined Were Extant Research Findings regarding the Added Value for Organizations in Recruitment Processes and whether These Findings Are Applicable in the Context of Decision-Making on the Preventive Handling of Candidate Ghosting Scientific Databases Were Reviewed to Identify Primary Research on the Subject The Systematic Review Includes 10 Studies That Focus Exclusively on Ghosting in Professional Settings Content Analysis Was Performed to Analyze and Weigh the Results in Accordance with Their Respective Applicability The Research Landscape Lacks Studies That Specifically Focus on the Organization so Perspective on Candidate Ghosting The Best Indication Is Provided by Kumar and Narayana Demonstrating That the Company s Industry Background and the Candidate s Educational Background indicate a Higher Probability of Ghosting Tendencies
